Secret Origin
Trading in his position as front man for the electronica-meets-country-western band Suckback, Chad bought a mongoose farm and waited for the money to roll in. But fate, cruel lady that she is, would not allow the man to live his dream and cursed all his mongeese with herpephobia, the fear of snakes.
Broken and penniless, Chad turned to the drink and began living in a haze. When he finally came to his senses a year later, he found he was in Chicago without any knowledge of how he'd gotten there. He wandered the city streets until he came to a building that seemed to call out to him.
Chad entered and found himself in the middle of a room filled with British comics writers. No one knows what those writers told him, but when Chad left, he had a new direction in life. His mission is now to take over the United States and return it to the British. But he's pretty lazy and will probably settle for selling comics. God save the Queen!
