Late-Breaking Wizard World NewsWizard World Chicago has come and gone, but there were a few late-breaking stories that didn't get posted to the web in time to be included in last week's issue of Dragon's Breath. Mark Millar and Brian Michael Bendis will co-write Ultimate Fantastic Four, with art by Andy Kubert.� more Bits o' Marvel News: According to Tom Brevoort, Marvel is "actively working" on a Ghost Rider project.� (Well, obviously, with the movie coming up �) Letters columns will return to the pages of Marvel Comics, but we probably won't see the return of Marvel Annuals anytime soon. The Punisher will get a new # 1 (marking the start of Punisher Volume Seven!) when the book moves over to the MAX imprint. The Thunderbolts may return in 2004 � the villains-cum-heroes Thunderbolts, not the underground "fight club" Thunderbolts. Brian K. Vaughan and Kyle Hotz may produce another mini-series featuring The Hood. Three new Essential trade paperbacks are planned for the coming year:� Essential Spider-Man Vol. 6, Essential X-Men Vol. 5, and Essential Punisher Vol. 1. Robert Morales and Chris Bachalo will be the new creative team on Captain America in 2004. Peter Bagge's follow-up to The Megalomaniacal Spider-Man will be called The Incorrigible Hulk. Andi Watson and Tommy Ohtsuka are currently working on 15-Love, the tennis-oriented mini-series announced at San Diego. Talent Caldwell (Fathom: Kilian's Tide) will provide the art on a 6-issue mini-series that will launch DC's revamp of the Superman titles in early 2004.� more Talent's boss, Michael Turner, is rumored to be working on six issues with Batman in them, possibly the next story arc in Superman/Batman.� more Jim McLaughlin hosted a "state of comics" panel with Joe Quesada, Mark Waid, Erik Larsen, and Brian Pulido at Wizard World.� more Comics NewsHarvey Pekar has contributed a six-page strip called "My Movie Year" to the current issue of Entertainment Weekly.
