Announcing Our Huge Halloween Sale

Mwah-ha-ha-ha!  Heroes and Dragons has sinister designs on your wallet this Halloween weekend � but we think you'll forgive us.

We first assembled our massive collection of $1 back issues in 2000, dubbing it "the Monster Stock."  But if Brian Michael Bendis has taught us anything this year, it's how to disassemble a massive endeavor.  And what better time to lay our Monster Stock to rest than Halloween?

That's right, folks � we're rolling out a brand-new stock of back issues in 2005, and we want to use these last few weeks of ' 04 to send the old books off to happy homes.

It won't be easy � there are 100,000 comics in the Monster Stock � but we're going to do our best.  Of course, we need you to come down to the store and buy some dollar books before the end of the year.  And to give you an incentive, we're kicking off the sell-down with a huge discount:

MONSTER STOCK COMICS will be ONLY 50� through Sunday night!

So update your want lists and come on down to the Dragon.  It's the biggest Halloween Party we've ever thrown, and you don't even have to wear a costume!

Rules & Terms

Sale prices DO NOT apply to dollar comics in the "New Arrivals" section � only the 100,000-book Monster Stock.

Sale prices DO NOT apply to items on hold (such as pre-orders and subscriptions).  You cannot place sale items on hold.

Mail orders are welcome, but you must call in your order during store hours or submit it via e-mail before closing time (7:00pm) on the last day of the sale (Sunday, October 31).  E-mail your orders and requests through our Contact Us page.

Don't Forget to Fall Back This Weekend

U.S. and E.U. residents who observe Daylight Saving Time should set their clocks back one hour this weekend.

Standard Time resumes at 2:00am Sunday morning, October 31.
