Mega-Con 2000 Pictorial page 3

Above, George Perez poses with the model from CRIMSON PLAGUE, who will be returning in her own monthly series from Gorilla Comics this summer.

Artists and artists' models dominate this page.  Below is Greg Horn, who writes, draws, airbrushes, and digitally creates J.U.D.G.E.  At his side is his very own Victoria Grace, Betsy Gonzalez.  Betsy is Greg's editor, model, and fiancee.

Columbia's own Sanford Greene (above) made an unlikely connection at Mega-Con:  The guy on the right bears an uncanny resemblance to one of Sanford's original characters!

Jim Krueger (left), writer of EARTH X and about a dozen other upcoming projects, stopped by the booth at Mega-Con.

WHITEOUT's Steve Lieber (right) sat beside the CBLDF booth and patiently answered all sorts of questions that began with, "Say, are you any relation to ... ?"

Billy Tucci (above) told us that Tia Carrere is out and Mira Sorvino is in for the role of SHI in the upcoming feature film.  Then he agreed that you can't eat just one. Joe Benitez (above) promotes his new Top Cow title THE MAGDALENA.  The B-9 robot is nowhere in sight.

SCION writer Ron Marz and penciller Jim Cheung (above, left to right) are joined by Chewbacca at the CrossGen booth.  Internet rumor reports that Chewbacca may be replacing inker Don Hillsman on SCION.

NASA Astronaut Richard Searfoss has left space behind, but apparently space isn't through with him -- here comes the B-9!

Above: Brian Pulido MCs prize drawings at the Chaos! booth.  A couple on vacation from Scotland won a still-beating human heart.

Klaatu, berata, nikto.
Lance Campbell from Sci-Fi City (below) brought his own giant robot -- Gort from THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL.
