Just a quick reminder to everyone in applicable areas that Daylight Saving
Time officially ends on Sunday morning, October 27, at 2:00am.
If your part of the world observes daylight saving time, be sure to set your
clocks *BACK* one hour tonight. (Yes, you'll get an extra hour of sleep,
to make up for the one you lost when we started this year's Daylight
Saving Time cycle back in April!)
North Americans should technically set their clocks at 3:00am,
jumping backward to 2:00am. Folks in the European Union should change
their clocks at 1:00am Greenwich Mean Time (London Time), jumping
backward to midnight.

Last year's Halloween Costume sale was so popular, we've decided
to do it again!
Wear a costume into the store on Wednesday, October 30
(the day before Halloween), and you'll receive a 10% discount

when you check out!
For added fun, we'll have special guests from the 501st Legion —
STAR WARS' only officially-sanctioned costuming club!

address, and phone number to enter you in our special door prize
drawing.
Like last year, there's only one rule to qualify for the
across-the-board 10% discount:

In DRAGON'S BREATH v.7.35, I misspelled finalist CASEY BRAYBOY's
name. Sorry, Casey!
Thanks to SCOTT BRADEN at Diamond Comics, retailers around the
world will get a peek at the contest's Grand Prize Winner, DALTON
HILLFINGER, and his cover for THE GRENADE CREW in an upcoming
issue of the trade magazine DIAMOND DIALOGUE. Stay tuned for
details.
In DRAGON'S BREATH v.7.34, I called the upcoming DAREDEVIL movie
a "21st Century Fox film." It isn't.
It's a 20th Century Fox Film. 20th Century Fox did not change
their studio name just because we moved into a new millennium.
>> OUR BACK-ISSUE DEPARTMENT IS GROWING AGAIN!

That's right --we're adding even more books to our already
massive "Monster Stock" of $1.00 comics!
We've recently rearranged the dollar books to make room
for 400 new boxes -- and we'll be bringing those books out
slowly over the next several months, integrating them into
our existing stock.
Mail-order customers will benefit from the expansion, too!
Books that were previously inaccessible will become more
and more available over the next several months. If you
haven't checked with us on your missing issues, now would
be a good time to do so -- then again in February, once
we've added more merchandise to the Monster Stock.
In the meantime, we've moved our Hot Books closer to the
new comics -- directly in front of the New Comics Wall, in
fact!
If you're looking for Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age
books, you'll still find those in the same place -- the row
leading toward the Monster Stock.
