Happy Thanksgiving from the DragonHeroes and Dragons would like to take a moment to wish you and your family a very happy holiday season. This Thursday is Thanksgiving in the U.S., and we'll be taking a day off to spend with our families. We'll return on Friday with the usual assortment of "comics, games, toys, and fun" but in the meantime, please use the holiday to enjoy great food and good times with your loved ones. And, if you get the chance, catch up on your comics-reading! Holiday HoursHeroes and Dragons will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27). Otherwise, there will be no changes to our schedule:
Comic Club Meets Next ThursdayHeroes and Dragons Comic Club invites all non-members to join us for our next meeting, when we discuss one of the most popular (and most important?) works of the last ten years Kingdom Come. Is Kingdom Come the last word on super-heroes? Or is it an overrated coffee-table book? Bring your opinions and insights to our next meeting, at 7:30pm on Thursday, December 4 and find out why HDCC is Columbia's best kept secret! Kingdom Come has a retail price of $14.95, but card-carrying HDCC members can pick it up for only $11.96. Copies are on sale at the front counter of the store right now ask for it by name. REMEMBER: Coming EventsThe Big Apple National Con is this weekend, November 28-30, in New York City. Lord of the Rings CCG League meets Tuesday, December 2 at 4:00pm. H&D Comic Club meets to discuss Kingdom Come at 7:30pm on Thursday, December 4.
